In addition to monitoring water, the device can also keep track of air and solar temperatures.

Jandy temperature sensor compatibility

The Jandy temperature sensor, which also goes by the name of AquaLink Temp Sensor, is commonly used as a replacement for the the Jandy Aqualink RS Temperature Sensor 7790, as well as the 7784, 7786, 7790 and 7791 series temperature sensor kits.

What’s more, as leading brands Jandy and Polaris are owned by parent company Zodiac, the sensor is also compatible with Zodiac and Polaris kits.

Avoid pairing your new Jandy sensor with 5089, 4019 or 2/4/58000 water temperature sensors – they’re not compatible.

Checking air temperature couldn’t be easier. Simply install it away from power centers, motors, sunlight and direct sources of heat.

If your home features solar panels that you wish to monitor, fix your sensor adjacent to them and you’re good to go.
