The Pentair 520272 can be used with EasyTouch, SunTouch and Intellitouch systems. It’s also compatible with Compool LX220/B and LX220/2TX solar control systems, and can be used to replace TS5T and STS5T series models.

Using your Pentair 520272

The Pentair 520272 makes checking the water temperature of your pool a cinch. Just drill a small hole into the pipe that runs between your filter and filter pump, attach your sensor using a hose clamp and it’s good to go.

Why stop at water? Your Pentair sensor is just as handy when it comes to checking out the temperature of the air. Just make sure it’s fixed outside the power center, away from any motors, air conditioners and any other source of heat. An open, shady patch should do the trick.

As for solar temperature, test it by fitting your sensor adjacent to your solar panels. If they’re glazed, the sensor should be fixed between the collector and the glazing.
