The Pentair Temperature Sensor is as versatile as a device can be. It’s compatible with IntelliTouch, EasyTouch and SunTouch Systems, and acts as a water, air and solar sensor.

To check your pool’s water temperature simply drill a small hole in the pipe between the filter and the filter pump. Then, secure your sensor using a hose clamp. You’re all set.

If you wish to use your device to assess air temperature, make sure it’s set up far from your power center, air conditioners, motors, and other heat sources as they can distort readings. Direct sunlight’s also a no-no.

If you wish to check solar temperature, fit your sensor adjacent to your unglazed solar panels, or suspended between the collector and glazing if your solar panels are glazed.
