How many C7470 Cartridges do I need?

The C7470 cartridge is made specifically for the Clean & Clear 320 system by Element.  This system is made to cover a pool that is 320 square feet but the filter cartridge only handles about 80 square feet of water.  In this case, the filter housing is designed to hold four filters, but they may not all need to be replaced.  Filter cartridges can be cleaned between changing so you can prolong the life of your filter.

How to tell your C7470 Filter Cartridge is Dirty

If you are operating a Clean & Clear 320 filter system by Element, it is easy to tell if your C7470 filter cartridges need to be cleaned.  The first indicator of dirty cartridges is that the water flow from the pump will decrease.  If this happens, the first step should be to clean your filter cartridges to remove any debris that may be blocking the flow of water.  For instructions on how to clean your filters, visit www.poolguysupply.com.
